Car Review: 2011 Chrysler 200 Convertible
Published Tuesday, 02 August, 2011 by Reggie Warren.
???? A Solid Midrange Competitor Available in four exclusive trim levels, the 2011 Chrysler 200 convertible is a sleek updating of the previous Sebring model line. The Chrysler 200 is more than just a tired old retread of an outdated idea; these convertibles offer sleek retro-influenced styling and solid performance with a healthy dose of practical fuel economy, making them solid contenders in the midsize convertible market.Under the hood Depending on the trim level, drivers can choose from the solid 2.4-liter four-cylinder with a reliable 173 horses under the hood or the 3.6-liter flex-fuel V-6 that adds over 100 horsepower for faster pickup and enhanced speed capabilities. The base level LX is available only in a four-speed automatic, while others feature the six-speed automatic.Inside the cabin Drivers and passengers will still find the interior somewhat cramped, but major improvements have been made over the Sebring??????s rather humdrum design. Ambient LED lighting offers a subtle touch of luxury, while most functions can be controlled via remote control including opening and closing the convertible top, unlocking and starting the vehicle and monitoring the temperature and other vehicle information.
